Snapshot
- Find Candidate
- Find Clients
- Match the right people to the right job
- Arrange interviews
- Place people in new jobs
If upon starting with Kinetica you are new to recruitment we will give you a weeks long intensive training - which will take you through the basic "ins and outs" of what the job entails. You will then be prepared to start tackling the job in hand. You'll be sat amongst experienced consultants to help guide you through the day to day tasks but it will be up to you to get the ball rolling.
Find Candidates - We have an extensive database which is a vital resource for finding candidates, however other methods we use are headhunting, external candidate databases and obtaining referrals. It will be up to you to contact these candidates to discuss the relevant opportunity and guage their interest.
Find Clients - Build relationships with Key Decision Makers / HR Departments; gather valuable information about the client. You may need to visit the client face-to-face.
Find Vacancies - Talk to clients to obtain vacancies that they are currently looking to fill. You will also need to keep up to date with industry news and finding vacancies advertised in other media sources, i.e. websites, industry journals and magazines.
Arrange Interviews - Send an appropriate shortlist of candidates to the client so that they can then decide who they want to bring in for interview. You will then arrange first and second interviews between the candidate and client and fully brief all parties in preparation. After the interview you need to get feedback from both parties and aid the client in their decision making process.
Place people in new jobs - Hopefully an offer will then be made to one of your candidates, at which point you need to manage all the job offer negotiations right up until the candidate commences employment. This could entail advice on offer procedures, resignation, appropriate salary, etc.
Fingers crossed the placements will come rolling in - but in order to maintain constant business you will need to attend relevant exhibitions, take advantage of any networking situation, constantly hunt for suitable candidates and vacancies, visit key clients and hold candidate interview days out of the office.
At Kinetica we pride ourselves on NOT being a consultancy that just puts "Bums on Seats" - we make sure we are only talking to candidates about jobs we genuinely think they can do and will enjoy. Therefore it's paramount that our consultants have the desire to work ethically, effectively and efficiently on all our candidates and clients behalf. In return you will get immense job satisfaction and reap the rewards of what can be an extremely well paid career.
