Key Account Manager - Europe

Our client, a major Life Sciences company, is seeking a Key Account Manager to cover the territory of Europe. The candidate can reside anywhere in the EU, suck as UK, Ireland, Germany, Scandinavia - London, Dublin, Berlin, Denmark, Norway, Sweden,  Finland, Iceland, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, Reykjavik etc.

The key responsibility of this high profile sales role is to maintain and grow the diagnostic business of the company and increase sales of diagnostic products, by identifying opportunities in market segments and trends and also planning growth strategies. Meeting and/or exceeding sales targets is a key role feature, and a substantial amount of your time will be dedicated to visiting customers and monitoring their interest in company products. You will maintain awareness of the market position and products of competitors, and present at seminars and trade shows and be the main point of contact for customers. This means that you will coordinate customer queries, plant audits and also contract negotiations.

The client is seeking an individual with excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, who is both self-motivated and goal orientated. A degree in a Science subject (Biology, Immunology) is required, as is an understanding of products, applications and processes including Antibodies, Antigents, Reagents, Blood Typing Products, Immunodiagnostics etc. It is imperative that you have a strong customer focus, as customer requirements are to be diagnosed and managed professionally. Ideally, the candidate will be based in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia or Germany, but other EU locations will be considered.
