Oncology Specialist

We are looking for an Oncology Specialist with expertise in Oncology, Immunodiagnostics and/or Haematology.

The purpose of the role is to assume responsibility for communication and collaboration of relevant scientific and medical issues by physicians. As a company expert you will be expected to keep up to date with all advances in the field and select and recommended the use of articles for company literature, etc. Other duties and responsibilities include:

• Design and execution of studies
• Evaluation of products
• Develop and maintaining contact with key opinion leaders, clinical investigators, pharmaceutical companies, etc regarding medical advances, collaborative issues and product issues.
• Presentation of data at key meetings and conferences.
• Act as internal consultant/ expert advising other disciplines within.

The successful specialist will have excelled in scientific speaking around Oncology, Immunodiagnostics and Haematology. They will have strong data management skills regarding data handling, statistics and interpretation. Ideally you will have an MSc or PhD in a related scientific discipline.  Other desirable skills include exceptional written and oral communication skills, presenting expertise and project management.

The role involves extensive UK and occasional overseas travel.

This role includes a bonus of up to 10%, company car or allowance, expense allowance, computer and communication devices.
