We were recently approached by one of our clients to recruit a Spinal Sales Associate, and we felt that this was such a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to break into Medical Device Sales / Orthopaedics, that we decided to add it to our news section.
We are looking for a recent graduate, with a good life science degree, sales experience would also be beneficial but is not essential. For my client personality and attitude is one of the most important aspects of this role, and they will provide sales training on their Spinal product range to bring the right candidate up to speed and enable them to sell their products effectively.
The main point to consider when thinking about applying for the Spinal Sales role is that this position is not for a hard nose sales person, it is much more of a consultative sell. What will make a difference to your success is your demeanour, in particular how you carry yourself when speaking to Theatre staff and top surgeons.
This role will progress from an assistant into a fully-fledged sales position, giving you a great opportunity to learn the ropes first before being thrown into the deep end of sales.
