Technical Manager - Oil, Gas, Exploration & Production Industry

We have an excellent and very rare opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager to join our client - a small Reservoir Engineering Consultancy based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Consultancy aims to be premiere Reservoir Engineering Consultancy serving the Exploration and Production Industry. They are looking to expand over the next year and are looking for a highly experienced professional to join their team and help lead the company during this time. The client is seeking a Technical Manager to be based in Aberdeen, Scotland. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys Technical Reservoir Engineering, and also someone who wishes to be a key founding member in the expansion of an existing Reservoir Engineering Consultancy.

The Technical Manager role will be 80% Technical Reservoir Engineering and 20% Managerial. Here, you will build on the existing Aberdeen customers, set up an office in Aberdeen and also help to recruit excellent Reservoir Engineering professionals.

For this role, you must be based in and have the correct work VISA's and permits to work in the UK. You must have a technical degree or equivalent and will have excellent technical experience working as a Reservoir Engineer, preferably with a major oil company. You must be ambitious and want to be a leading figure in what is already a very successful company. 

Should you be successful in acquiring this challenging role, you will receive a competitive salary of around £100,000 (negotiable), a generous bonus, medical, insurance and pension.
