Our client is a leading provider of innovative immunoassay solutions, dedicated to advancing the field of diagnostics and improving patient outcomes. Their cutting-edge technologies and products are used globally in clinical laboratories, research institutions, and healthcare settings. They are now seeking a talented and driven Account Manager to join their team in Boston.
Position Summary:
As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and expanding our client’s customer base, promoting their immunoassay solutions, and driving sales within the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the healthcare and diagnostics market, coupled with exceptional relationship-building and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the immunoassay market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Provide technical and product support to clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups to ensure ongoing client engagement.
Product Promotion and Education:
- Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of the immunoassay solutions to clients.
- Organize and conduct product training sessions and workshops for clients.
- Attend industry conferences, seminars, and events to promote the products and network with industry professionals.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with the marketing, technical support, and product development teams to align sales strategies and initiatives.
- Provide feedback from the field to help improve products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Sales experience in the life sciences industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of immunoassay technologies and applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
