Principal Quality Engineer - Leeds - Healthcare
About the Company:
We’re looking for highly experienced Quality Engineer to join a specialist and expanding healthcare company in Yorkshire. As a senior member of the quality team, you will be responsible for managing quality engineering related tasks across the site.
Responsibilities:
- Problem solving.
- Mentoring more junior staff.
- Overseeing quality tasks carried out by technicians and engineers.
- Responsibility for QE aspects of process development, risk management, qualification of equipment, software and facilities, process validation, inspection and test work, etc.
- Risk analysis and management including DFMEA, PMEA and AFMEA.
- Driving the development and execution of experiments and tests.
- Leading quality investigations.
- Leading quality projects.
Requirements:
- Candidates will be educated to degree level in Engineering.
- Extensive experience working in quality engineering within the medical device industry.
- Excellent communication skills are also required.
Some travel required – up to 30%.
