Product Manager – Proteomics - Munich

About the Company:

We have partnered with a leading manufacturer in the field of proteomics equipment and assays, dedicated to advancing scientific research and discovery. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join their dynamic team in Munich. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of their proteomics equipment and assay portfolio. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic product plans, managing the product life cycle, and ensuring the successful launch and commercialization of new products.

Responsibilities:

Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape in the proteomics industry.
Define product strategies and roadmaps based on market insights, customer feedback, and business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, sales, and operations to develop and launch new products.
Drive product development initiatives, from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and sales enablement materials.
Monitor product performance, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities for product enhancements or portfolio expansion.
Provide product training and support to internal teams, as well as technical assistance to customers when needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, scientific research, and emerging technologies in the proteomics field.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology).
Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role within the life sciences industry, preferably in proteomics or related fields.
Strong knowledge of proteomics equipment, assays, and related technologies.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful product strategies.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
