Sales Executive – Germany
Location: Remote, Germany
Industry: Biotechnology | Single-cell Multi-Omics | Precision Medicine

I'm working on behalf of a pioneering, venture-backed biotechnology company headquartered in the U.S. that is redefining how researchers study disease at the cellular level. Their proprietary microfluidics-based platform is a leader in high-throughput single-cell multi-omics and is widely used in cancer research, as well as in the development of cell and gene therapies.

As they expand their European commercial operations, the company is now looking to hire a Sales Executive to cover Germany. This is a remote role, ideal for a driven and self-motivated life science sales professional who thrives in a consultative selling environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth within Germany, meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Identify and develop strategic opportunities across academic institutions, biotech companies, and pharmaceutical organizations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing, with strong support from Field Applications Scientists and Marketing.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Provide accurate pipeline updates and sales forecasts using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and regional events.
  • Deliver high-impact presentations and product demonstrations to both scientific and commercial audiences.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products, competitive landscape, and relevant applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (e.g., Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology); advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in technical sales or business development within the life sciences sector.
  • Strong understanding of genomics, NGS, or single-cell technologies.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a complex, solution-driven environment.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Based in Germany with the ability to travel up to 60% domestically.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling capital equipment or complex scientific platforms, particularly in genomics, oncology, or cell and gene therapy.
  • Established network within academic, biotech, or pharma accounts in Germany.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a cutting-edge company operating at the forefront of precision medicine. If you have the scientific knowledge, commercial drive, and customer focus to thrive in this role, I’d be happy to share more details.
