Commercial Manager – North UK – Medical Device
About the Company:
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Commercial Manager to lead business growth within the fertility sector. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and nurturing long-term partnerships with clinics, referrers, and key accounts, while ensuring patient referral pathways are fully supported and prioritised.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities and partnerships with fertility clinics and clinic groups.
- Build a deep understanding of key customer needs and strategic objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clinics, providing exceptional support and driving collaborative project development.
- Manage and execute contracts efficiently, ensuring compliance and alignment with business goals.
- Oversee the effective onboarding of new clinics to ensure a seamless integration process.
- Represent the organisation at local and international trade shows to promote brand visibility and foster partnerships.
- Identify and manage customer information within the CRM system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of local market regulations, legal frameworks, and account structures.
- Track, analyse, and report key account performance metrics to inform strategy.
- Gather and communicate customer insights and feedback to internal teams, including Client Services, Brand Communication, and Digital, to drive service and marketing improvements.
- Work closely with the Client Services team to ensure timely, consistent, and high-quality communication with clinics and clients.
- Act as the key liaison between customers and internal stakeholders to coordinate effective service delivery.
- Proactively manage and resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and empathy, maintaining strong and trusted relationships.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a commercial position within the fertility sector and/or a background in embryology with the drive and skills to move into a commercial role.
- Highly self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a proactive approach to achieving business goals.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing challenging discussions and developing effective solutions.
- Excellent organisational and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on service excellence.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Healthcare Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
