Role Overview
The Product Manager is a technical expert responsible for managing a portfolio of genomics products throughout their lifecycle. This includes new product launches, go-to-market planning, sales enablement, and the development of marketing campaigns to drive commercial success. The Product Manager will support product positioning and pricing strategies while creating impactful marketing content to engage customers.
This is an office-based role located in California. Occasional travel (approximately 5%) may be required.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of new and existing genomics products to ensure commercial success.

Collaborate with senior marketing leaders to develop and implement the annual tactical marketing plan.

Conduct outbound marketing activities through email, digital, and social media channels to reach target customers.

Analyze data from marketing campaigns and present actionable insights to stakeholders.

Work closely with R&D to ensure product development meets market requirements and technical content is generated.

Create sales support tools, including presentations, cue cards, testimonials, and citations.

Develop engaging web content and tools that communicate clear value propositions to customers.

Lead tactical marketing team meetings to track performance and achieve revenue goals.
Qualifications

Ph.D. in biological sciences or related discipline required (M.S. considered with strong experience).

Postgraduate laboratory experience.

Product management or related experience within life sciences.

Strong knowledge of product management principles.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Collaborative team player with proven ability to work cross-functionally.
