R&D Engineer

Research & Development Engineer– East Yorkshire – Contract (6-12 months)

About the Company:

We are looking for an engineer with experience in product development and physical product testing from either the medical device or the consumer products industry to work on a maternity cover contract. This is a fully site-based role.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and carrying out technical investigations and lab tests.
• Designing and conducting lab tests for prototypes.
• Design Control.
• Writing protocols, recording data and compiling reports.
• Assisting with sourcing materials.

Requirements:

• Degree in Science or Engineering.
• Experience working in product development from the medical device or consumer products industry (personal care, home care, incontinence, ostomy, hygiene, tissues/ paper)
• Experience developing and carrying out physical tests.
• Ability to work onsite full time.
