The Role: Sales Manager
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to join the expanding Sales & Marketing team. In this role, you will drive revenue growth, lead prospecting efforts, and build strong customer relationships within the biopharmaceutical sector. You will play a key role in introducing innovative life science solutions to the global market and accelerating adoption across research and industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to drive high-volume lead generation.

  • Qualify and guide new sales leads through the pipeline.

Process Optimization

  • Implement tools and automation strategies to improve and personalize prospecting workflows.

Sales Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor and report on campaigns, pipeline activity, and lead progress.

  • Manage customer interactions using CRM systems (Hubspot preferred).

Customer Engagement

  • Initiate and nurture customer relationships independently.

  • Deliver engaging sales presentations and provide customer feedback to internal teams.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences field.

  • Sales experience in life science instruments or reagents.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Experience with CRM systems (Hubspot preferred).

  • Knowledge of protein assay instrumentation within the bioprocessing industry.

  • Willingness to travel (approximately 30%) across the UK and Europe.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a start-up environment is highly valued.
