Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to join their dynamic sales team to cover the Northeast territory. The Sales Executive will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our clients business by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, expanding their customer base, and driving revenue through the sale of their NGS software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts, industries, and market segments for potential business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in the life sciences and healthcare sectors.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to effectively communicate the value proposition of our NGS software.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management regularly.
  • Stay informed about advancements in genomics, bioinformatics, and related technologies to effectively position our solutions in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the life sciences or biotechnology industry.
  • Deep understanding of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
