Supply Chain Manager – SE London/Kent – Analytical Sciences – Rolling Temporary Contract

About the Company:

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join an expanding analytical equipment company in Kent/ Southeast London. It is essential that applicants have strong people management experience and experience with purchasing, planning, stores and dispatch.

Responsibilities:

• On-time in full delivery of products.
• Achieving KPI’s relating to on-time delivery, supplier performance and evaluation, inventory levels and stock accuracy.
• Managing capacity through production planning.
• Monitoring PPV and mitigating price increases.
• Managing supplier risk.
• Cross training of staff.
• Ensuring that health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Assisting the Operations Manager with implementing strategies and business objectives.
• Reporting.
• Managing key matrics for planning, purchasing and stores.
• Data analysis.
• Managing supplier relationships and performance.
• Stock control.
• Oversee component and product storage, handling and distribution.
• Stock taking.

 Requirements:

• Experience in purchasing, production planning, stores and dispatch.
• Experience working as a Supply Chain Manager in a complex manufacturing environment (electronics, electromechanical, equipment, instrumentation, medical device, optics, etc).
• Experience of risk mitigation for supply chain.
• Excellent understanding of ERP and MRP systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Travel will be required from time to time in UK, Europe and sometimes worldwide.

• Legally able to work and live in the UK without company sponsorship.
