Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Lead to expand our commercial footprint across the DACH region. This strategic role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing key customer relationships, and forging partnerships across pharma, biotech, and academic sectors. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge in neuroscience, preclinical research, or drug discovery, paired with a successful track record in business development or technical sales within life sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a commercial strategy to drive business growth in the DACH region.

• Identify, approach, and engage pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic clients.

• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and KOLs.

• Collaborate with internal scientific and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.

• Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events.

• Conduct market research and provide insights on industry trends and competitive positioning.

• Consistently achieve or exceed regional revenue targets.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated success in business development, technical sales, or account management in the biotech or life sciences industry.

• Prior experience in preclinical R&D or neuroscience platforms is a strong advantage.

• Established network within the pharmaceutical and biotech ecosystem in the DACH region.

• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and travel as required.
