About the Company

Our client are a leading provider of healthcare solutions, specialising in servicing NHS products and other associated third-party equipment. They are committed to delivering exceptional support to their clients. Our client are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join the team and uphold their commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for conducting on-site service maintenance activities for a range of products and associated third-party equipment. This role plays a vital role in ensuring optimal support for both the Company and clients, aligning with contractual NHS obligations.

  1. Perform product cleaning, service, and repair activities on our client's products and associated third-party equipment as per contract obligations.
  2. Assist with installation, warranty service, and repair requirements as needed, both within and beyond designated service areas.
  3. Respond promptly to communications using provided IT equipment, offering efficient support while minimizing costs.
  4. Organize and plan daily workload effectively to minimize time away and ensure adequate contract coverage.
  5. Maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders, promptly resolving issues in the interest of company reputation.
  6. Prioritize warranty and contract breakdowns to uphold our client's reputation.
  7. Ensure demo and evaluation stock is maintained in pristine condition and readily available.
  8. Check newly delivered stock to ensure it meets quality standards.
  9. Collaborate closely with the Sales team, providing technical support and identifying new sales opportunities.
  10. Maintain allocated stocks at agreed levels to meet work programs.
  11. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all service activities, maintaining detailed records for future reference.
  12. Develop and maintain record systems for customer information and administrative records to support business efficiency.
  13. Implement rework or warranty replacement programs efficiently.
  14. Maintain allocated company vehicles to high cleanliness and maintenance standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar field service role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Technical proficiency with our client's products and associated equipment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Full adherence to company and regulatory policies and procedures.
