<p><strong>Field Service Engineer (1 Yr FTC) – Field based/ South UK – Diagnostics</strong></p>
<p><strong>About the Company:</strong></p>
<p>We are looking for a Field Service Engineer with experience in the diagnostics or instrumentation industry to join the field engineering team on a 1 year fixed term contract servicing clients in the Southern half of the UK. This well-established company has a comprehensive benefits package.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Provide support, training and advice on instrumentation to customers.</li>
<li>Deliver and install instruments at client sites, handling system integration and providing client training.</li>
<li>Participate in the design, development, and delivery of training programs.</li>
<li>Respond to technical support inquiries, addressing concerns and identifying areas for improvement.</li>
<li>Assist the sales team with demonstrations and related activities.</li>
<li>Participate in alpha and beta testing of new software and hardware.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Proven experience in a client-facing technical engineering role.</li>
<li>Experience working remotely.</li>
<li>Experience working autonomously.</li>
<li>Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>High attention to detail is essential.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work across multiple locations as required.</li>
<li>Full UK driving license.</li>
<li>Proficiency in various IT applications, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly learn new software.</li>
<li>Openness to undertake training to enhance skills.</li>
<li>Any experience in clinical laboratory practices would be a benefit.</li>
<li>Any experience with software testing would be advantageous.</li>
