Kinetica are partnered with a Food Contract Manufacturer and Distributor in Los Angeles, CA on a Director of EHS opening.

The EHS Director will manage and adhere to safety regulations at local, state, and federal levels as well as industry standards within the organization. This role involves safeguarding both employees and the environment through workplace inspections and the reduction or elimination of hazards, whilst developing an implementing an EHS focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Department Budget

• Identify, Eliminate and Control potential Hazardous Conditions

• Identify opportunities and implement measures for continuous improvement

• Maintain training and education to remain current on laws and regulations

• Collaborate with HR and Legal on Incident Management

• Create, Implement and Deliver EH&S Training Courses

• Create and implement an EHS-Centric Culture

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related fields

• Progressive experience in EHS management within a Manufacturing Environment

• Desirable Certifications CHSP, CHCM, CHFSP, CHMM, CIH, or CSHM
